Sun the 29th- Heart Source Center 1600 Shattuck Ave, Suite 214 A, Berkeley, Ca 94709

In this 2 day in-depth immersion, we will explore Anatomy in and out of the context of yoga. This is not just about Yoga poses, it is about living and feeling with greater awareness. The weekend will include both lecture and experiential clinics to help you make "AnatomySense." Dr. Mike has a way of making the learning experience fun, interactive and engaging, so that Anatomy is not just something to memorize, but to truly experience and know. We will cover therapeutic and functional movement patterns from your feet all the way up to your head. Proper movement is rooted in a dynamic understanding of anatomy. Learning to move with awareness and understanding mitigates and even eliminates pain in the body. Dr. Mike makes "AnatomySense" through visual concepts, movement, and palpation. This training is tailored to yoga teachers and advanced practitioners seeking to deepen their AnatomySense. You will leave with a greater sense of connection to your body and how to help others. This training will leave you with a deeper understanding of the anatomy, dysfunction, and treatment covering the major joints of the body and how they work together. We will begin each day with a movement practice that will connect your body with the day's lesson. You will learn critical thinking and how to work with someone who has pain and/ or prevent pain in their yoga practice through myofascial techniques.
